Very tired. Didnt really sleep well last night. So here i am at UIR class. Just finished a practical which required us to serve a wordy website. So here you are :

It’s an educational website for research on science on the outside. But its true aim is to publicize their publication.

Coverage
What is the coverage of the site? Is it comprehensive? What subject areas and materials are covered? Are there any pointers to further information that enhance the coverage of the site? Are the links to other sites useful?

The coverage is on Science Centers, News, Museum Research, Education & Outreach, Conservation Research, Libraries, Cultural and Scholarly Programs, Libraries, Archives, Online Collections and Datasets. It is very comprehensive as there are links to provide more information. The website has already provided a very large coverage. There is no need to improve the coverage. Yes they are. The provide more information.

Authority
Is this an authoritative source? Are there any reviews about this site or has it been included in any gateways or virtual libraries?
It is from Smithsonian. It is an establish company as there is membership to it and you can donate to them. Yes it has been included in google search engine as the first entry.


Accuracy

Yes. All its sources are based on research. There is no political,ideological or biasness in the source. It is a factual site with lots of research as evidence. Yes the references are stated clearly. Yes it is free from grammatical, spelling and typographical errors.


Currency
It is daily updated It is well-maintained.

Accessibility
The site is easily accessible. It doesn’t requires registration or log-ins to server the website and it is free.




Presentation and Arrangement
It is well presented and arranged. It is clear, consistently and logically presented and arranged. Though I think that there is too much information to browse through making it very messy. There is no site map, no index but there is a search facility. They are quite useful as it display every post that consists of the keywords.






Usability
No as there is too much information. Yes there is a search engine to help the user out.




Overall
The website is loaded with information. But it is hard to get around as there is too much information.




There was so many information in the website. When i saw the website, my mind switched off due to the massive sum of information. They could have put more graphical metaphors, so that the website will be more user friendly. The links were equally messy too. It was all too wordy. I had a hard time reading each and every link.
